I was working with a few students from Grade 2.  They tried hard for most of our time together so I let them draw for the last few minutes.

I also worked with twins Derrell and Derwren.  See my earlier post on giving twins similar names.  Typically, it seems, Lucians put the accent on the final syllable on a name, so Der-RELL and Der-WREN. This is Derrell's drawing of me:

The boys in my school are nice children. They have significant challenges at home and in life that affect their ability to come to school ready to learn. This makes classroom management a daily challenge.  But a noble challenge.
